Depression Counseling
Support for when life feels heavy, exhausting, or disconnected.
Depression can feel like moving through life with a weight you cannot put down. You may feel tired all the time, emotionally numb, unmotivated, or disconnected from the things and people you used to enjoy. Even small tasks can feel overwhelming.
You may be experiencing:
Persistent sadness or low mood
Loss of interest or pleasure in things you once enjoyed
Fatigue or lack of energy
Difficulty concentrating or making decisions
Changes in sleep or appetite
Feelings of hopelessness or emptiness
Guilt or harsh self-criticism
Withdrawing from others
Feeling like you’re just “going through the motions”
Depression doesn’t always look like crying all the time. Sometimes it looks like functioning, showing up, and feeling empty inside.
How Therapy Helps With Depression
In our work together, we will gently focus on:
Understanding what’s contributing to your depression
Exploring patterns of thought that deepen hopelessness
Reconnecting with emotions in safe, manageable ways
Building routines and coping strategies that support your energy
Processing grief, trauma, or unresolved experiences
Strengthening self-compassion and reducing shame
Identifying small, realistic steps toward feeling better
We move at a pace that respects where you are. There is no pressure to “feel better” before you’re ready.
