Anger Management Counseling
Support for understanding, regulating, and expressing anger in healthier ways.
Anger is a natural human emotion, but when it feels uncontrollable, explosive, or constantly simmering beneath the surface, it can begin to impact your relationships, work, and sense of self.
You may find yourself:
Snapping at loved ones or coworkers
Feeling easily irritated or on edge
Holding anger in until it suddenly erupts
Experiencing guilt or shame after outbursts
Feeling misunderstood or unheard
Struggling with resentment or bitterness
Feeling tense, restless, or physically wound up
Anger doesn’t mean something is “wrong” with you. It often signals unmet needs, boundaries being crossed, or emotions that haven’t had space to be processed.
How Therapy Helps With Anger
In our work together, we will:
Identify triggers and early warning signs
Understand the roots of your anger
Learn to pause before reacting
Develop healthy coping and grounding tools
Practice expressing anger safely and effectively
Improve communication and boundaries
Reduce guilt, shame, and relationship strain
Build emotional awareness and regulation skills
This is not about “controlling” your emotions or suppressing anger. It’s about learning how to work with your emotions instead of being overwhelmed by them.
